Duh*Squared - Competition Spirit!

Hiya and welcome to my spirit pages for the competitions that I am in!! As a bit of history, I first learned about web competitions in 1998 by finding The Site Fights - I believe I also came across either theirs or someone else's web competition that was not at the Site Fights url as we know it now. I joined, learned my way around competitions, had a great time and won the dome!! *smiles* I then took a break from fighting because I had my son in September of 1998, and when I was ready to start competing again, a lot of people were leaving The Site Fights because of some unfairness that was happening. In all honesty, I can't remember what it was all about, but I did hear both sides of the story and I decided that Dman was wrong in what he was doing. So I left... and after a few months started up The Rumbles - the best and most fun competition on the net, if I do say so myself! LOL

In January, 2006, after seven years of being open, I decided that I just didn't have the time or the energy to run The Rumbles anymore. My initial plan was to shut it down, but instead one of my assistant managers took over part of it and is now running it as a NVE Comp! YAY! Which means I get the joy of still being involved in The Rumbles, without having to be in charge :) Anyway, i also joined a few other comps, as you can see *smiles* and I'm enjoying being a part of all of them!
