Welcome to my beliefs page :) I hold a lot of opinions and beliefs, so anything that I find around the net that goes along with what I believe, I will put it here. The first belief that I hold very dear to my heart is the pro-choice one. I am not pro-abortion, I am *pro-choice*, and I believe that abortion should be an option. Aside from that one belief, there will be many others here that I also believe strongly in. Thank you for coming to look :) :)

< Pro-Choice >

Above are two pro-choice webrings that I belong too, and below this is an image asking for people to stop terrorising abortion clinics. Its funny how anti-choicers talk about how life is precious, and then they just go around killing it. I have heard the argument 'But that person was going to kill many more people, so it was justified.' The ironic bit of this was WHO believes that that person was going to kill a lot of people? Oh, YOU the one who killed him? huh. and what about the rest of us that don't believe he was killing anything? I don't believe having an abortion is murder..so in my eyes, is what you did right? I value life - I am pro-life. But I am NOT pro-life in the way that antichoicers bandy it about. And those people that go out and kill people who are *helping* (yes, *helping*) others, really sicken me. So yes, I believe in this just as strongly. If you say that you value life, than value ALL life. Just because you disagree with what someone is LEGALLY doing, doesn't mean that you have the right to go out and kill them. And if you believe that it does, then you can't value life. The two do not go hand in hand.

Some really good sites are here:
Abortion is ProLife - firmly agree with this one. I have always believe that calling oneself 'prolife' when you are trying to ruin one persons life didn't make any sense at all. This site explains it all really well.

I was very lucky and managed to attend the Pro Choice March on Washington on April 25, 2004!! *smiles* It was one of the most exciting and important events that I have EVER been too. And I was joined there by more than ONE MILLION other people who believe the same as I do - that womeon should have the CHOICE!!!

Before I went, here is the message that I put on my main page:
This is so important!! Please read this page, and go there and sign up!! I will be marching as well, so if you are going, please let me know, and maybe we can meet up! I'm going on my own, so it would be nice to see others that I at least know online :) :)

Its so scary though, the idea that we might go back to where we came from. I understand - in a way - how anti-choicers feel, especially with all of the misinformation being bandied about. But what I don't understand is how they could willfully allow someone to die...to feel that amount of despair, and having nowhere to go. A lot of people here in England don't necessarily agree with abortion, but they know that having abortions legally is FAR better than having them ilegally, and allowing all of those people to die from back-alley abortions. Please DON'T allow the deaths or the despair of women!! Support women's rights, and get out there, and sign the petition, and join the march!! Please don't allow all of the work we've done in the past to get equal rights to flounder!!!

Although I don't have a graphic for this one, I also believe that the USA should take out the 'under God' bit in the national Anthem. The USA is not founded under christianity, we are supposed to have religious freedom, and yet all this time, our anthem just assumed that we would all be 'under God'. Well, I don't regard myself as 'under God', and I know a lot of other people who don't as well. I think taking that bit out is LONG overdue. I also fully believe in the seperation of church and state. I really don't see what church would have to do with the state in the first place, much less having a question about it. Anyway, I see lots of people around the web saying that they want the 'under God' to stay in. And I say, please respect everyone who doesn't believe in your God. I wouldn't want the anthem to say 'under Goddess' anymore than I want it to say 'under God', and thats my religion. So why should yours prevail? I just had a look for a webring on this subject, with people who believe the same as I do, and I can't find any, so I'm going to make my own :) If you believe the same as I do, please sign up here!!

Believe in USA Religious tolerance? So do I!

I saw this graphic on a page one day, and decided to put it on mine as well. I believe that we are all individual people, and that we should all strive each day not to conform to what other people expect of us, and what we think that we *should* be doing, or *should* feel, but follow how we really feel inside. I try to live my life by following my heart, and sometimes people don't agree with the things that I do. But I'm me, and I like being me...I'm proud to be me!! *smiles* Feel the same? Click on the graphic and go get your own! :) :)
